Ispiration: Conzpiracy – Digital Artist
I signed up to DeviantArt from over six years (perhaps even from more time with an old account) and I think it is one of the best artistic communities that we can find. Not only for expose our own works (photos, traditional and digital drawings, manipulations or fanarts), but even for trying flair and meet outstanding artists. With this section I want to present the artists that I most admire and I actively follow (or I almost stalk them) on this site.
I’ll introduce you: Conzpiracy – Digital Artist
I found this artist looking around between the category “Manipulation” of DeviantArt. His first work that I found is this; and there’s no need to say that it has been love at first sight. I was looked around by the style, composition and his talent, one afternoon I saw all his gallery, and I realize that I already knew some works, because he’s the author of wonderful tutorials in a site called SurrealPSD. As you note well he doesn’t miss talent, his career is something amazing (I’d be happy to have just one-tenth of his talent); but the thing that bring me to choose him as first ‘unaware guest’ of my column, as well as his cleverness, is his availability. He does not hesitate to reply to the messages on Facebook, Deviantart and Twitter. For me it’s a good gesture. He finds time even though, I suppose, he receives hundreds of messages/mentions.
Have you seen what a wonderful works? And how tutorials are extraordinary? And that’s not the end! Oh No! This fantastic artist has decided to share his knowledge with all of us passionate of Digital Art & Manipulations. He created a web site in which you can see some videos that can really give you the basis to improve, by paying the moderate price of $87. I bought this course and I finished it in less then 48 hours. I think that his British accent is fantastic and the structure and the methods of this course are great! These tutorials are not the classic ones that teach you step by step how to create something (
a copy) as the example picture, but they give you the basis that help you to understand how to take advantage of your skills, improve your weak points and to have a full overview about everything that must be watched out for.
All this help and tips are pointed at make you aware of all elements that must be watched out for when you create a digital picture. Thanks to this course I was able to publish some Manipulations even on DA, that I’d never did before because honestly they were not up to being published. Logically, I’ve hundreds of proofs and hours at my disposal and the improvement that I have to do is considerable.
The Course is about:
- The Pro Workflow.
- Visual Awareness: Art collections & Mood Boards.
- Stock Selection & Doc Setup: Resolution explained, Setup the workplace, Easy print presets, Selecting Stocks.

There’s nothing worse than spending YEARS practicing your craft and not achieving the results you deserve.
When learning Photo Manipulation, most people will trawl countless YouTube videos trying to piece together random ‘software’ tricks and nuggets of information. Through trial and error, the dedicated will get there eventually.. after MANY years of practice.
The problem with this approach is that most of the Photo Manipulation literature online obsesses with the software itself! Anyone can learn the fundamentals of Photoshop in a week – however creating striking Digital Art requires a much broader skillset. Skills that are RARELY addressed on the tutorial sites.. if ever!
Art System Photoshop is a Video Training Course that covers step-by-step, the fundamental skills required for creating high-impact artwork. In this course you will learn the best Photoshop tools for Compositing and Processing, as well as Fine-Art techniques including Depth of Field, Composition and Lighting Theory.Source: Art System Photoshop
